This instrument is a 1954 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue Heavy Aged model crafted by the Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab. While it features the authentic aging finish unique to the Murphy Lab, its appeal extends far beyond its appearance. The overwhelming presence you feel the moment you pick it up and play it is arguably this guitar’s greatest charm.

First and foremost, its excellent weight balance deserves special mention. The actual measured weight is approximately 3.77 kg. This places it in the relatively lightweight category for a Les Paul, making it easy to handle even during long playing sessions. Despite its light weight, the sound retains a solid core, and the fact that it balances a rich tone with the characteristic power of a Les Paul is a major draw.

Furthermore, the texture of the rosewood used for the fingerboard is not to be overlooked.
