The Gibson Custom Shop is the pinnacle of accuracy, attention to detail, craftsmanship high quality, and sound excellence that approaches the original.
The Gibson Explorer was introduced in 1958, and only 19 were shipped that year. This model was ahead of its time, and has been loved by many artists ever since.

The Corinna Explorer with black pickguard, made in 2021, is now in stock. This model has a unique crisp sound different from mahogany.
The neck shape is thick and comfortable to hold, and the ABR-1 bridge/stop-bar tailpiece and other parts are used. It also features two volume and one tone controls with CTS pots and phonebook condensers, gold hardware, Kluson tuners, and a 4-ply black pickguard.
The pickups are custom buckers, the company's ultimate PAF clone, and no compromises have been made in the sound.

1958年に発表されたGibson Explorerは、その年にわずか19本しか出荷されず、時代を先取りしたこのモデルはその後も多くのアーティストに愛されています。

今回入荷したのは、2021年製のブラックピックガード仕様コリーナ・エクスプローラー。マホガニー材とはまた違ったコリーナ独特のクリスピーなサウンドが魅力。
また、ヴィンテージ・エクスプローラーの特徴を忠実に再現しており、太く握りごたえのあるネックシェイプにABR-1ブリッジ/ストップ・バー・テールピースといったパーツの採用、さらにCTSポットとフォーン・ブック・コンデンサーによる2つのボリュームと1つのトーン・コントロール、ゴールド・ハードウェア、Klusonチューナー、4プライ・ブラック・ピックガードを備えています。
ピックアップにはオリジナルPAFを意識した同社の究極のPAFクローンとも言えるカスタムバッカーを搭載しサウンドにも妥協は一切ありません。
現状、細かな擦傷やピックガードのスレは少々はありますが目立つダメージは無く使用感の少ないキレイな状態となってます。
