Skervesen Guitars, which boasts great popularity among guitarists in down-tuning genres including progressive metal, has just received a used "Shoggie DC 6," a headless model.

The brand was founded by a long-time production manager at Mayones, a popular guitar shop in the same genre, who became independent and established the brand.
The concept of the brand is "to make guitars that you always want to play, but that don't exist in the world", and you can feel that in the woodworking and the beauty of the finished guitars.

The Shoggie DC 6-string model is one of Skervesen's most popular models.
The headless model is even lighter and easier to handle than its predecessors.

Spalted maple top and swamp ash back are selected.
The color is natural, which allows you to enjoy the unadorned and unadorned good wood grain of the spotted maple, just like an ink painting.
The neck shape is asymmetrical, which is synonymous with Skervesen, and the quality of the finish on the back of the neck allows for smooth positional movement and fingering.
It is no exaggeration to say that the comfort of the neck allows the player to draw out his or her potential to the utmost limit.

The electrical system is a simple 3-way + 1-volt specification. It is equipped with the "World Domination Mod," which can be selected as an option.
This mod is a system that provides an acoustic sound without the use of batteries or other power sources, and it is capable of producing a surprisingly authentic sound, adding new options to the sound variation.
The mod is controlled by a toggle on the back side of the instrument, with the so-called rear PU position providing a normal humbucker sound, the center position providing a coil split, and the front position providing a WDM sound.
There is no description of the PU, but it is likely to be a Bare Knuckle pickup, as they are often used on Skervesen guitars and the screws are burnished.

The sound from the amp has a core and a bright sound with a fast attack, as can be predicted from the good sound of the amp.
When distorted, it has a tight and aggressive sound, which is essential in the metal genre.

It has a relatively used feel to it, giving the impression that it has been well played.
The stainless steel frets do not seem to have lost much weight. The fretboard is about 90% full.
The truss rod has a relatively generous amount of room.
There are no scratches that would affect the playability of the guitar, but there are a lot of scratches overall, and the cavity plate is made of wood and there is some flexing associated with it.
There is some rust on metal parts.
