One of the most legendary models of the entire Gibson era, the J-185 was originally released in 1951 and was designed to be a slightly smaller version of the SJ-200, with a Sitka spruce top and maple side and backboards. The J-185 shares many of the same features as the SJ-200, such as a Sitka spruce top and maple side and backboards.

The 1952 J-185, now released in the Custom Historic Collection, features a thermally aged Sitka spruce top, as well as luxurious flamed maple side and backboards. Featuring the iconic Maltese Cross MOP inlay on the open-slot bridge, one of the hallmarks of the J-185s of yesteryear, the 1952 J-185 is a rare model that will continue to inspire artists and performers worldwide.

The back of the neck has a glossy finish and there are some areas on the body where the paint has a glossy finish.
It has been cleaned and adjusted after arrival.
Truss rod: Checked up to 60 degrees on both sides of the rod, no problem.
Neck Condition: Slightly bent at the waist.
Fret: 80% remaining

ギブソン全時代を通して最も伝説的なモデルのひとつに挙げられるJ-185。もともと、1951年にリリースされたモデルでした。SJ-200の意匠をそのままに僅かに縮小するようデザインされたJ-185は、シトカ・スプルース・トップ、サイド板とバック板にメイプル材というように、SJ-200と共通した仕様を擁していました。

この度カスタム・ヒストリック・コレクションからリリースされた1952 J-185は、サーマリー・エイジド・シトカ・スプルース・トップに加え、サイド板とバック板に豪奢なフレイム・メイプル材を擁しています。往年のJ-185の特徴のひとつであるアイコン的存在のマルタクロスのMOPインレイがオープン・スロット・ブリッジ上にあしらわれ、1952 J-185はレアモデルでありながらも世界中のアーティストやパフォーマー達を刺激して止まないモデルとなるでしょう。

VOS仕上げですがネック裏にツヤが出ているほか、ボディも部分的に塗装ツヤ出ている箇所ございます。
入荷後クリーニング・全体調整済みです。
