Hand-sprayed thermally aged Adirondack red spruce top in a Historic Style Burst color, combined with nicawel glued body top bracing and mahogany sides and back for better sound and response, The mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, and bone nut and bone saddle are all luxurious features, and the guitar is finished in a light-aged finish by Murphy Lab's expert luthiers.
The light-aged finish by Murphy Labs simulates the condition of a guitar that has been carefully played for 50 years and has rarely left the user's home environment. Pick scratches around the soundhole, light dings and rounded edges, plus a unique lacquer check pattern throughout, combine with VOS hardware and hand-rolled fingerboard binding. This guitar has the character, atmosphere, and feel of an original model from Gibson's golden era.

The guitar has been aged so it is difficult to identify scratches, but there are no scratches that give the impression of unnatural use, and it is in good pre-owned condition.
The fretboard has been cleaned, adjusted, and fretted over after arrival, and can be used without any playing problems.
