SUMO STOMP is a new brand that offers sound quality and functions close to our IBBI/TOG and other high-priced effectors, but with a very compact size, convenience, high-end finish, and affordable price compared to other products in the same price range. It was developed in the hope that it will help players achieve even better performance at a reasonable price, with no compromises.

The IBBI flagship compressor "U-II," loved by many top musicians, has been made into a small MXR-sized chassis with the same functions and features. Despite the size and parts limitations, we have made it as close to the "U-II" as possible by upgrading the circuitry used and tuning the sound by selecting parts from a different perspective. When played at high volume, there is a slight difference in low-end, but the SUMO COMP has more of a high-frequency luster and youthful vigor.
The sidechain EQ is set to 2 positions on the SUMO COMP compared to 6 positions on the U-II, but you will not feel the lack of positions from the 4-string to 6-string basses.

There are some signs of use such as scratches and dirt, but there are no operational problems.

数々のトップミュージシャンに愛されたIBBIフラグシップコンプレッサー「U-II」を機能もそのままにMXRサイズの小さな筐体に作りこみました。サイズやパーツの制限がありながらも、使用回路のバージョンアップや別視点からのパーツ選定などのサウンドチューニングを施し、限りなく「U-II」に近づけました。大音量で鳴らすと僅かにローエンドに差が出ますが、寧ろ高域の艶や若々しい元気の良さがSUMO COMPにはあります。
サイドチェインEQがU-IIは6ポジションに対してSUMO COMPは2ポジションになっておりますが、4弦から6弦ベースまでポジションの不足を感じさせません。

キズや汚れなど若干の使用感はございますが動作上の問題はございません。
