USED YAMAHA / SG-2000 BS [06]

We’ve received a used Yamaha SG2000, a legendary instrument first released in 1976.
Based on the serial number, we believe this is a 1982 model.
Developed in collaboration with Carlos Santana and incorporating innovative technology, this model gained immense popularity as Yamaha’s undisputed flagship.
Featuring a unique neck-through construction and a sustain plate under the bridge, the Yamaha SG series is known for its sweet, lustrous, and tight long sustain. This particular guitar is in excellent “player’s condition” and is still ready for plenty of playing.

In addition to damage such as paint chipping on the rear pickup and fading of the gold hardware plating, there is partial lifting of the body binding on the 6th-string side cutaway, visible on both the top and side surfaces. Furthermore, the binding on the 6th-string side waist of the body shows signs of repair and lifting on the side surface. Additionally, there are slight gaps in the paint layer at the junction between the binding and the wood in other areas.There is a faint whitish discoloration, which appears slightly more pronounced on the back than on the top. On the top, it is barely noticeable from a distance, but upon close inspection, a slight whitening can be confirmed; overall, this is a specimen in decent condition. As for scratches, the body back clearly shows linear scratches that appear to have been caused by concentrated contact with a belt buckle or similar object, while the top has only minor, fine linear scratches aside from those on the pickguard.
