Based on the FOUNTAIN 2025 ver., this model adds an additional stage of hard clipping to the traditional smooth overdrive, giving it distortion-like bite and grit. While maintaining a smooth texture, it delivers a more aggressive, forward-sounding drive feel, offering ample density and presence even when used on its own.Compared to the standard model, the smoothness and dynamic range are slightly tighter, but this results in superior sustain and control during lead playing, allowing you to build a highly polished drive sound without relying on amp compression.

The control layout centers on a simple trio of knobs—GAIN, VOLUME, and TONE—and includes sub-controls for PRE GAIN, CLIP, and FAT, allowing for flexible adjustment of the pre-gain stage. PRE GAIN controls the amount of gain in the stage before the main drive, while toggling CLIP on or off switches between adding distortion in the pre-amp stage and adjusting the amount of signal pushed into the subsequent stage.With CLIP on, distortion in the preamp stage is emphasized, resulting in a denser, more distortion-like sound; with CLIP off, you get natural distortion that drives the main circuit while preserving the nuances of the original tone. Furthermore, the FAT switch changes the frequency balance of the preamp stage: when on, it produces a thick, smooth lead tone with rich low-mid frequencies; when off, it offers a clear, responsive drive character that remains faithful to the input signal.
There are signs of use, such as scratches and dirt, but there are currently no operational issues.
