A used Fender Stratocaster has arrived!
Made in 1979
Ash body, thick maple neck, round-inlaid rosewood fingerboard, with 3-point Micro-Tilt.
This guitar makes a strong impression with its sturdy, asymmetrical neck and a white body that has developed a yellowish sun-faded patina.
Overall, there are signs of sun fading, dents, paint chipping, and scratches.
An orange line is visible on the back of the body.
The neck and body dates are illegible and unknown.
The pickups: the front and center pickups are 1979 gray-bobbin models; the rear pickup shows signs of re-soldering and is a high-output gray-bobbin pickup with yellow lead wires; the year of manufacture is unknown as the serial number is illegible.
The pot date for the front tone control is 1978; the dates for the other pots are illegible and unknown.
There are signs of solder repairs.
The neck has been over-lacquered and shows slight waviness, but this does not affect playability.
Other metal parts show some rust and tarnish.
