This PETE THORN SIGNATURE GUITAR is based on a custom-spec Suhr Standard that Pete has used extensively in studio work and on tour over the past few years.

It features a maple top with a mahogany body and neck. With its pleasant highs, powerful mids, and well-balanced lows, it delivers a crisp, cutting sound that’s popular among rock players.
It also features an Indian rosewood fingerboard. The neck, finished in satin acrylic urethane, retains the smooth, natural feel of the wood while protecting it from the effects of humidity.
The “EVEN C SLIM” neck profile, combined with a rolled fingerboard edge and a 10–14” compound radius, ensures exceptional playability. Stainless steel frets and PLEK Fret Dress* enable smooth bending and fingering, guaranteeing optimal string action, playability, and intonation.

The guitar is equipped with the “Thornbucker,” a humbucker pickup conceived from the desire to perfectly recreate the best characteristics of ’50s PAF pickups—clear, versatile, and expressive—without compromise.
While direct-mount pickups are standard across the Suhr guitar lineup, this model—which embodies Pete’s personal vision—is the only one featuring an escutcheon-mount design. This intentional choice is one of Pete’s key design elements, reflecting his pursuit of vintage authenticity and a premium feel.

Featuring an HH layout, a 5-way mega switch, two Thornbucker pickups, a push-pull switch for parallel bridge pickup operation, and a Wilkinson locking tremolo, this guitar offers the flexibility to adapt to any musical style.

There is a dent on the body side near the 1st string at the neck joint, but otherwise, the guitar shows only minor scuffs and wipe marks; overall, it is in excellent condition.
Condition Grade: B+: Some minor scratches are present, but the instrument is perfectly suitable for normal use.
