USED FENDER CUSTOM SHOP / 1960 Stratocaster Relic 3-Color Sunburst [06]

A used Fender Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster Relic in the classic 3-Color Sunburst finish has arrived!

This guitar, a recreation of the 1960 model, features an alder body, a straight-grained maple neck, and a slab-style rosewood fingerboard. It is equipped with 1960s-style beveled pole pieces and black-bobbin pickups.

The 3-Color Sunburst lacquer finish has been treated with a Relic finish, giving it the look and feel of a guitar that’s been played for many years.
In addition to the relic finish, there are normal wear marks from use, as well as paint peeling on the neck side near the low frets. There are also minor scratches and dents, though in some areas it’s difficult to distinguish them from the relic finish.
There is a crack near the front pickup mounting screw on the pickguard, as well as a scratch near the truss rod nut; however, there is no other damage significant enough to detract from the instrument’s character.
Additionally, the pickup selector switch has been replaced from the original 3-way to a 5-way model, and during this process, the wiring between the pots and the solder joints were reworked.
The guitar has been cleaned and fully adjusted since arrival and is ready for use without any issues.
