USED IBANEZ / Destroyer II DT-700 Coral Red [06]

A used Destroyer II DT-700 has arrived.
Manufactured in the early 1980s, this medium-scale bass belongs to the X Series. It features a basswood body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard, along with a P/J pickup configuration.
This instrument stands out for its aggressive body shape—a hallmark of the Destroyer series—and its striking appearance.
There is some paint chipping at the tip of the headstock. A minor paint crack is visible on the first-string side of the neck pocket.
The front of the body has a large chip in the finish near the controls, and there are scattered fine scratches and scuffs elsewhere. The back of the body has multiple dents, scratches, and scuffs. The sides of the body also show multiple dents and chips in the finish, with damage concentrated near the body end in particular.
The metal parts show some tarnish consistent with the instrument’s age, and overall, the exterior shows signs of use.
Additionally, while all three controls function properly, they feel slightly stiff when turned.
The instrument has been adjusted and cleaned at our repair center, and it is in good playing condition.
Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
