1. Deepened top/back contour shape for enhanced playing comfort
The back contour is deepened for a natural, comfortable fit when cradling the guitar. Additionally, the top contour (where the elbow rests) transitions from a straight contour to a rounded contour body, improving arm contact and overall fit.

2. Slim C Shape for Modern Playing Styles
Incorporating feedback from players across Japan and the US, the Slim C neck profile accommodates a wide range of styles, from lead to rhythm. The "Standard Plus" model features a 42.00mm TUSQ nut. The precision roll-off finish on the fingerboard edges is high-quality, with the neck thickness set at 20.00mm at the 1st fret and 22.4mm at the 12th fret.This design ensures stress-free playing for both low and power chords, delivering exceptional playability.

The Professional series features a compound radius.
Compound radius refers to a precision conical fingerboard profile where the radius value gradually increases from the low to high positions (becoming more gradual = rounder at low positions, flatter towards the high positions). This specification also helps prevent choking noises during high-position bending and is recommended for players who prefer lower string action.

3. The Hi-Fi "Reflectone" Pickup, Developed in Collaboration with Rupert Neve Design
A pickup developed and manufactured in-house by Yamaha through collaboration with Rupert Neve Design, founded by Rupert Neve—the legendary figure behind numerous iconic pro audio instruments. Utilizing Alnico V magnets, the number of turns, winding method, and pole piece height were researched and developed from the ground up. This results in a highly balanced pickup that combines powerful low end with sparkling highs.

4. Acoustic Design's Acoustic Analysis Technology
Yamaha's proprietary "Acoustic Design" process utilizes acoustic analysis and 3D modeling. To emphasize the midrange through "enhanced coupled vibration" between the body and neck, and to reproduce tight, clear bass by adjusting low-frequency vibration, the following modifications are applied:
・"Slit" processing on the body
・"Long-sawn" headstock and neck
・Control cavity cutting design improvements (NC router cutting)

I.R.A. (Initial Response Acceleration)
I.R.A. is a technique that relieves stress between the finish and wood by imparting the guitar's unique vibration to the finished instrument. This process conditions the guitar to a state similar to years of playing.
