USED GRETSCH / FACTORY VINYARD GCS4157K Cadillac Green 14x5 Gretsch Snare Drum [08]

This is a "Factory Vineyard" USA Custom snare drum made from a Gretsch factory shell from the 1980s and sold with the same Taiwanese parts as the current model.
This model was produced as a spot item in the 2000s in a few different colors.
The Cadillac Green color here is a lacquer finish, a very typical Gretsch color.
The deep green color with a hint of lame is truly a beautiful coloring.

The shell itself was manufactured in the 80's, so it is well aged and dried, and has a softer sound and tone than the current brand new USA Custom.
The softness of the sound and the calmness of the tone can be felt. Also, only one of each color was produced, making the product itself quite rare.

With the most popular size of 14x5 inches and 8 tension, this is a standard Gretsch model specification that is easy to use for jazz as well as pop music.

Although there are some minor pits and scratches on the parts, it does not appear to have been used that much and gives the impression of having been used with care. There are no particular damages or defects, and the sound is good.
It is still in good condition and can be used with confidence. This is a very rare one.
