Fender Precision Bass, made in 1976.

A mid-70s style Precision Bass with a mid-70s look and feel. Ash body, maple 1P neck with lacquer topcoat only on the head top, modern logo, 4-point stopper joint, original PU (113676), POT is 1976 CTS x 2 (1377618/1377627).

It has a textured and atmospheric look, and a tight, core tone with a low center of gravity.

PU fence/finger rest included (screws and bridge cover are missing), overall signs of use commensurate with its age (color burn, extensive weather cracks around the neck, paint damage on the bass string side and end of the body, paint damage as if it was wiped with paint thinner solvent, gap at the joint that seems to be from the manufacturing process). There are also some paint damage, paint damage on the low string side and end of the body, paint damage that looks as if it was wiped with paint thinner solvent, gaps at the joints that look as if they were made in the past, scratches, picking marks, bent pegs, gilt peeling/glazing/rusting on screws and metal parts, etc.). The case that comes with the instrument also shows considerable signs of use.

The guitar has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret adjustment, nut replacement, refretting, fingerboard correction, and fingerboard painting) upon arrival. The truss rod can be tightened and loosened up to ±60 degrees.
