Commonly known as the "Beetle Bass" and widely popular, Hofner's Ignition Bass is based on the traditional 500/1 violin bass but offers amazing value for money.

With striking looks and unique controls, it features spruce top/flame maple sides and back, maple neck, jatoba fingerboard, and a short 30" (76.2cm) scale.

Soft and poppy sound that only a lightweight hollowbody can provide, recommended for those with small hands and beginners.

There are some signs of use (minor scratches, scuffs and playing scuffs, picking marks, fogging, bits and rust on metal parts and screws, etc.).

The truss rod is adjustable for tightening and loosening, and its movement has been checked up to +/- 60 degrees.
