This is a 2010 Paul Reed Smith Tonare Grand Standard made during Steve Fischer's tenure.

It is a 16" non-cutaway model with European spruce top, figured mahogany sides and back, Peruvian mahogany neck, non-adjustable carbon rod, Cocobolo fretboard and bridge, bracing with PRS X-brace/ classical hybrid, open-back Keith Robson pegs, and gorgeous bird inlays and maple binding.

This is a regrettably discontinued instrument with a quick response and voluminous sound.

It shows some signs of use (minor scratches and scuffs, paint loss along the grain of the wood, some paint loss around the body and behind the neck, very slight deflection under the bridge, fogging of metal parts and screws, etc.).

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string change, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment) and the fret board is high enough to play.
