The Istanbul K cymbals were made at the Ziljan factory in Turkey from 1967-77.
These cymbals are from the so-called "new stamp" period.
This is a newer generation of Old K, so there are many refined pieces with a very high degree of perfection.

This model is 20 inches long and slightly weighted at 2056g.
Overall, there is little dullness, and the ping sound is firm, with a solid impression and a solid grain.
It is a little bright for an old K, and retains a sparkling and "energetic" feel.
The grain and overtones coexist and the sound is well defined, making it easy to use for big bands and pop music.
It is a highly versatile piece that will not look out of place when mixed with current cymbals.

There are some fingerprint stains, but there is no significant deformation or damage, and it is good enough for an old cymbal.
This old K is still in good condition and can be used with confidence.

1967-77年にトルコのジルジャン工場で製作されたイスタンブールKの
いわゆる「ニュースタンプ」に当たる時期のシンバルです。
オールドKの中でも新しい世代の為、非常に完成度の高い洗練された個体も多い世代です。

20インチで2056gとややウェイトのあるモデルです。
全体的にくすみも少なく、ピング音がしっかりした印象で、粒のしっかりした個体です。
オールドKとしてはやや明るめで、きらびやかさを残しており「元気」さを感じます。
粒立ちと倍音が共存しサウンドの輪郭があるため、ビッグバンドやポップスなどに使いやすそうな個体に感じます。
現在的なシンバルと混ぜてもあまり違和感のでないであろう汎用製の高い1枚です。

指紋汚れは多少ございますが著しい変形、ダメージも無くオールドシンバルとしては十分なほど良好。
まだまだ十分安心してお使いいただけるコンディションのオールドKです。
