This is an early 1970s type snare of Gretsch's standard and long-selling metal model, the G4160.

The serial number is 18398 and it is equipped with an early 1970s lightning throwoff.
The parts appear to be original, including the hoops.

This model represents Gretsch's metal snares, and while the chrome over brass shell gives it a brighter sound, the die-cast hoop keeps it reasonably tight and gives it a Gretsch-like attack.
The vintage model in particular has a rounded edge bend and a very soft and fat sound. It has a soft sound despite the brass shell.

Overall, there are some minor scratches, pits on parts, and slight dents, and it has a certain amount of age, but there are no problems with normal use, and the sound itself is very good.

The sound itself is very good. This is truly a "THAT GREAT GRETSCH SOUND" that you can experience!

グレッチのメタル系のスタンダードかつロングセラーモデル、G4160の1970年代の初期のタイプのスネアです。

シリアルが18398で、1970年代初期のライトニングスローオフを装備しております。
パーツもフープを含めオリジナルの物を使用しているようです。

グレッチのメタルスネアを代表するモデルで、クロームオーバーのブラスシェルで明るめのサウンドながら、ダイキャストフープで適度にタイトにまとめ上げており、グレッチらしいアタック感が特徴的。
特にヴィンテージのモデルはエッジの折り曲げも丸めになっており、非常にサウンドもソフトでファット。ブラスシェルながらも柔らかさのあるサウンドが特徴です。

全体的に細かい擦り傷や、パーツのピッツ、僅かに凹んでいる箇所も見られ、それなりの経年感があるものの、通常使用には問題なく、サウンド自体は非常に良好です。
