USED Fender USA / Stratocaster Standard 2-Knob Sienna Sunburst [1984/3.54kg]

Second version of the Stratocaster Standard, known as the so-called "Dan Smith" Stratocaster.

Fender Standard Stratocaster, made in 1984. This is the 2-knob 2ND version of the Dan Smith design, with a small head and 4-point stopper. Alder body, maple neck, loin fingerboard, 1-ply pickguard, 3 single coils with flat polepiece, Vol/Tone/5-way selector, free-flight tremolo on the body top, and locking pin are standard.

The Smith Strat, supervised by Dan Smith, an innovative model of the time, has a certain elegance to it.

Lacks arm and lock pin hardware. There are some signs of use (color fading, dents around the head, minor scratches/scratches/paint chips around the body, scuffs/scratches from playing, picking marks, buckle marks, cloudy/bites/rust on screws and metal parts, etc.).

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string change, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough for playing.
