This is a Yamaha BB434 Broad Bass.

BB434 is a bolt-on jointed bass that follows in the footsteps of the famous BB, with an alder body, maple/mahogany 5P neck, rose fingerboard, YGD V5 P/J (Alnico V) PJ layout, 19mm pitch between strings at the bridge, top loaded and string-through body (string back-through) construction, and a rosewood fretboard. The bridge has a 19mm pitch between the strings.

It has the unique tone of the BB series and high playability of the past, and is also useful for home recording.

It shows signs of use (scratches and scuffs, minor scuffs and scratches, picking marks, fogging and bits on metal parts and screws, and other exterior damage).

The fret board has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and deburring) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough to play well.
