Gibson USA Les Paul Custom made in 1987. Maple top/mahogany back, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, engraved numbered PU (catalog spec is "1959 reissue" Humbacking), Grover pegs, Nashville TOM bridge, Gold hardware specification.

This Les Paul Custom has a tight sound and a stately look.

4 knobs have been replaced, strap pins have been changed to JimDunlop type (no hardware on the strap side), and the nut has been replaced. The guitar shows signs of age (color fading, peg play/rattling, general dents, cracks around the logo and binding on the head, cracks on the rod cover, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, buckle marks, metal parts and screws are faded, cloudy, bits and rusted, etc.). The logo on the attached commonly known as rocket case is peeling off.

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret adjustment, nut replacement) upon arrival, and the fret board is low enough for playing.
