USED K.Yairi / YW-500P 1976 [Made in Japan]

This is a K. Yairi Western Shape YW-500P, made in 1976.

K.Yairi is a world-renowned acoustic guitar brand, manufactured in Kani, Gifu, Japan. solid spruce top, rosewood sides and 3-piece 35-style back, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard/rosewood bridge, slotted diamond position marks and gorgeous inlays are eye-catching.

This is a 3-piece back dreadnought type, made in Japan by a well-established maker with precision and rich sound.

The pegs have been changed to those made by Grover, and the Y mark on the pickguard has been removed. There are some signs of use (scratches around the body, scuffs and scratches, scuffs and scratches, picking marks, buckle marks, fogging, bits and rust on metal parts, etc.).

The fretboard has been set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, fret groove adjustment, nut groove correction, and deburring), and the fretboard is low enough to be played as it is now, and the string height is high. The truss rod is adjustable to tighten and loosen up to +/- 60 degrees.
