Murphy Lab Collection, the culmination of years of aging technology, reproduces Heavy Aged Condition.

This is a Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab 1959 Les Paul Heavy Aged. This model has a lacquer process that reproduces natural weather checks just like vintage models, and is finished in the "Heavy Aged" finish, second only to Ultra Heavy Aged in the four available aged levels, with unpotted custom backer pickups, Luxe Bumblebee condensers, and vintage curved pots.

The wood grain and coloring are eye-catching, and the carefully selected wood materials and stately looks make this 4.02kg guitar look almost vintage, boasting unprecedented perfection.

The front PU, which was reverse-mounted, has been changed to a normal orientation, and the mix is currently in reverse phase. The pickguard is non-original and has been retrofitted, and the color is slightly different from the escutcheon.

The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string change, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough to play well.
