知る人ぞ知る、アドヴァンスト・ジャンボ！
1936年後期頃に誕生した16"WideのラウンドショルダーボディのAdvanced Jumbo。
1940年に一旦生産完了になりますが、1990年に復刻されました。
Made in USA、モンタナ工場製
16-1/16"Wideのラウンドショルダーボディで、Topにスプルース、Side/Backにローズウッドを使用。
TopにはスキャロップドXブレーシング、また珍しくサイドブレースも施されています。
レクタンギュラーブリッジにロングサドルの組み合わせ。
約42.5mmナット幅、25.5"ロングスケールのマホガニーNeckにはバインディングが施されたローズウッド指板を貼っています。
ヘッドにはDELUXE刻印入りクルーソンタイプペグ(メタルボタン)を装備。
ヘッドや指板のダイアモンド＆アローヘッドインレイも特徴的！
* フレット、サドル、エンドピン(内側からナット締めされています)は交換されています。
入荷後、アイロン修正、すり合わせ、ピックガード貼り直し、バックブレイシング接着済み。
また、著名ギター工房にてサドル加工・弦高調整済みです！
トラスロッドは左右60度まで確認済みにて問題なく、フレットも充分残っています。
ブリッジ再接着跡、ピックガード再接着跡、Neckヒール部にストラップピン穴埋め跡が残っています。
ボディやNeck裏などにウェザーチェック、バインディング部段差、指板バインディング部フレット脇クラック、ヘッド表面ペグ周りの塗装剥離、塗装引きなどが見受けられます。
全体的に大小さまざまな打痕、擦り傷、引っかき傷が散在しています。
ヘッドには複数箇所塗装剥げ打痕がございます。
かなり使用感や経年変化はございますが、プレイアビリティは良好です！
J-45とはまた違ったトーンで、ローズウッドSide/Backならではのシャープさを兼ね備えています。
もちろんGibson特有の粘り、コシの強さも健在です！

The Advanced Jumbo—a true hidden gem!
The Advanced Jumbo, featuring a 16" wide round-shoulder body, was introduced around late 1936.
Production was temporarily discontinued in 1940, but it was reissued in 1990.
Made in the USA, at the Montana factory
It features a 16-1/16" wide round-shouldered body with a spruce top and rosewood sides and back.
The top features scalloped X-bracing, and, unusually, side bracing is also applied.
It features a rectangular bridge paired with a long saddle.
The mahogany neck, with a nut width of approximately 42.5 mm and a 25.5" long scale, features a rosewood fingerboard with binding.
The headstock is equipped with Kluson-style tuners (metal buttons) stamped with "DELUXE."
The diamond and arrowhead inlays on the headstock and fingerboard are also distinctive!
* The frets, saddle, and endpin (secured from the inside with a nut) have been replaced.
Since its arrival, the guitar has undergone ironing, leveling, a new pickguard installation, and back bracing re-gluing.
Additionally, the saddle has been machined and the string height adjusted at a renowned guitar workshop!
The truss rod has been tested to 60 degrees in both directions with no issues, and there is ample fret life remaining.
There are traces of re-gluing on the bridge and pickguard, as well as a filled strap pin hole on the neck heel.
Weather checking is visible on the body and the back of the neck, along with uneven binding, cracks next to the frets at the fingerboard binding, and paint peeling and pulling around the tuning pegs on the headstock.
Overall, there are scattered dents, scuffs, and scratches of various sizes.
There are several areas of paint chipping and dents on the headstock.
While it shows significant signs of use and aging, playability is excellent!
It offers a tone distinct from the J-45, featuring the sharpness unique to rosewood sides and back.
Of course, the characteristic Gibson richness and robust tone are still very much present!
