Hawaiian ukulele made with the finest figured koa!

David Gomez has been making ukuleles and guitars in Kohala, Hawaii.
He originally studied classical guitar making in Madrid, Spain, and has had the rare experience of watching the making process of master craftsman Paulino Bernabé up close, even if he is not his apprentice.

This is an all solid concert ukulele with the finest figured koa wood for the body.
The shiny Avalon rosette is also eye-catching.
The mahogany neck is just under 34.5mm wide at the nut and approximately 383mm scale, with an 18-fret rosewood fingerboard.
The head also has a figured koa surface and is equipped with Grover pegs.
Gloss finish.

There is a ding on the side of the head (near the 3rd string peg).
There are some minor scuffs and scratches, but overall it is clean and playable.

The ukulele has a nice tension and a cool, crisp, ukulele-like sound!
Item rank B+: Some scratches, but no problems in normal use.

ハワイ島のコハラでウクレレやギターの製作をしてきたデビッド・ゴメス氏。
元々はスペインのマドリードでクラシックギターの製作を学んできた氏は、弟子ではないにせよ名工パウリーノ・ベルナベ氏の製作過程を間近で見るという貴重な経験をしてきたそうです。

こちらは、ボディに極上のフィギャド・コア材を使用したオールソリッドコンサートウクレレです。
光り輝くアバロンロゼッタも目を引きます。
ナット幅34.5mm弱、約383mmスケールのマホガニーNeckには、18フレット仕様のローズウッド指板を貼っています。
ヘッドにもフィギャドコアを表面に使用し、Groverペグを装備。
グロスフィニッシュ。

ヘッドサイド(3弦ペグ近く)に打痕がございます。
細かな擦り傷はございますが、全体的にはきれいで、プレイアビリティも問題ありません。

テンション感があり、カラッとしたウクレレらしい涼し気なサウンドが心地よく響きます！
