The lugs have been replaced with the current model, so it's easy to use.

This is a Rogers Dynasonic COB snare drum from the early 1960s, from the B/B lug era.
This is the chrome-over-brass model of the Rogers Dynasonic, one of the brand’s iconic snare drums.
Although production continued until around the 1980s, this is an early 1960s model that originally came equipped with the "Bread & Butter" lugs (the press-type variety). However, I’ve imported and installed the current, sturdier press-type lugs of the same model from overseas.
(We also replaced the four tension bolts.)
As a result, while it’s not entirely original, it’s actually easier to use when you consider durability.
The hoops and snare frame remain original, and the tight, buzzing sound unique to Dynasonic is still very much intact.
Its unique character—fat and warm yet tight—is truly one-of-a-kind.

While there are some slight dents in the hoops and minor scratches throughout—as is to be expected given its age—
there are no major defects, and it’s fully functional—this snare drum is still very much ready for active use.
