USED Fender / Road Worn 50s Stratocaster Black [3.25 kg / 2008]

A Stratocaster from the Roadworn series featuring a relic finish that recreates the look of a guitar that has been played for many years, right from the factory.

This is a Fender Roadworn '50s Stratocaster, manufactured in 2008. It features an alder body, a V-shaped maple neck, a 7.25" radius fingerboard with 21 frets (#6105 frets), and Tex-Mex Strat pickups in the middle and bridge positions.

With its atmospheric look and the punchy sound of the Tex-Mex pickups, this is a highly playable guitar with excellent weight balance.

The front pickup has been replaced with a Fender-style unit (model number and name unknown), and the strap pins have been swapped for Jim Dunlop-style pins (no strap hardware on the strap side). The back panel is missing, and while there are signs of wear (including cracks around the pickguard screws, shine on the elbow joint, and progressive peeling of the fingerboard surface) along with original distressing, the overall condition is good.

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The fret heights are at a level suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both tightening and loosening directions; it has been tested up to ±60° and is in good working order.
