Yamaha's "FG Red Label"—the Red Label, known for its rich, resonant tone—is Yamaha's original jumbo-body FG3.

It combines the aesthetics of the 1960s with the skilled craftsmanship honed over more than 50 years.Features a solid Sitka spruce top with A.R.E. treatment, scalloped bracing, solid mahogany sides and back, a mahogany neck, an ebony fingerboard and bridge, and Yamaha’s traditional V-shaped headstock. The truss rod cover is engraved with “Since 1966,” symbolizing the origins of Yamaha guitars.

The A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) treatment produces a well-balanced, mature, warm sound with minimal harsh overtones, creating a tone reminiscent of a guitar that has been played for years.

Signs of use (scratches, playing lines, picking marks, tarnish on screws and metal parts, etc.) are visible.

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, string height adjustment, nut slot correction); the frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been checked up to 60° in both directions and is in good condition.
