USED Danelectro / 59DC Long Scale Bass BLK [2.73 kg]

This is a Danelectro Short Horn '59 DC long-scale bass.

This model retains the deep bass characteristic of a Masonite hollow-body, the sweet sound of the Lipstick pickups, and the consistent tone—both open and fretted—provided by the metal nut, while featuring a standard long-scale neck.

Featuring a wooden bridge and a 2-volume/2-tone control configuration, its vintage-inspired look is another appealing feature.

The case is not original and shows signs of use (minor scratches, scuffs, wear marks, wipe marks, picking marks, tape peeling in places on the body sides, and cosmetic damage such as tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, etc.).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and action adjustment). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod has been checked up to 60 degrees in both directions and is in good condition (slightly tight).
