USED Morris / MW-101 NAT Morris All Solid Wood [08]

A slightly smaller, domestically handcrafted model than the Dreadnought, featuring Morris’s original MW body—a design that is now discontinued, though much loved.

This is the Maurice “Made in Japan” model, the MW-101. It features a silk-flat finish, a solid Sitka spruce top (XX bracing), solid rosewood sides and back (ladder bracing), a mahogany neck, a 43mm nut, an ebony fingerboard, and a 652mm scale length.

With its comfortable, original shape and herringbone-patterned binding on the top, this guitar offers the rich, resonant sound characteristic of a long-scale instrument.

Although there are some signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, picking marks on the pickguard film, etc.), it is in good condition.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, fretting surface leveling, and refretting of the 1st fret only); the frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been tested to 60 degrees to the left and right with no issues.
