USED Fender Japan / JB62 3TS with Dimarzio MODEL J DP123 MOD [4.18 kg / Manufactured 1993–1994]

A modified Fender Japan Jazz Bass JB62, manufactured between 1993 and 1994, featuring DiMarzio Model J (DP-123) pickups and GOTOH tuning machines.

This Jazz Bass features a 1962-style slab-jointed fingerboard and the iconic tiger logo. Manufactured by Fujigen during the “Red Tortoiseshell” era, it has a basswood body, a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, and a glossy finish on the neck.

Equipped with DiMarzio pickups, this versatile Jazz Bass is a ready-to-use instrument for both recording and live performances.

The strap pins have been replaced; the case is not original. There are signs of wear (significant paint peeling at the body end, minor scratches and scuffs, scuffs and wipe marks, peeling plating on metal parts and screws, clouding, pitting, rust, and other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, fret leveling, neck straightening, and pot replacement). The fret heights are at a level suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been tested to 60 degrees on both sides and is in good working order.
