NAMEBAND in Good Condition

This is a 4157 NAMEBAND model with a round badge, manufactured in the 1960s.
Measuring 14x5.5 inches, it features a 6-ply jasper shell with a silver interior, paired with an original 8-tension die-cast hoop. This combination produces a moderately attack-driven, tight yet soft and mellow sound,
This is a quintessential ’60s snare drum that truly embodies the spirit of Gretsch!

The shell is finished in the original Green Sparkle, which is why the Lemo Classic Fit heads fit perfectly.
Although this is what’s known as an “oversized” model, it plays perfectly fine.

Although there are some minor scratches and pits on the parts, there is no noticeable damage,
and it’s in good condition for its age; the shell is solid.

However, the microsensitive switch seems prone to loosening slightly, so
it might not be well-suited for playing styles that involve hitting the strings too hard.

As for the sound, it’s classic Old Gretsch—the dry, soft tone is truly one-of-a-kind.
Except for the head and snare wire, this is a rare, well-preserved name-band drum set in excellent condition with all original parts.
