USED Vanzandt / JBV-R2V 3 Tone Burst (3TS) [4.11kg]

This is Vanzandt’s 5-string model, the ALDER / ROSE MODEL・JBV-R2V (old-style headstock).

It features Vanzandt pickups—100% handmade in Texas, USA—and is produced at a domestic factory under the “Neo Vintage” philosophy with an ultra-thin lacquer finish. It features an alder body, maple neck, Indian rosewood fingerboard, an 864mm (34") scale length and a 38.4mm nut. It features a recessed bridge; the tuning pegs, truss rod wrench, and bridge are metric, while the other parts are in inches. It comes equipped with the original JAZZ STYLE BASS V SET pickups.

While both its look and sound are vintage-style, the slightly recessed bridge allows for a lower string action while maintaining tension, resulting in a guitar that also offers modern playability.

There are signs of wear (cosmetic damage such as minor scratches, scuffs, wipe marks, and picking marks on the sides of the bridge and the back of the body, as well as tarnish and pitting on metal parts and screws).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod has been tested up to 60 degrees on both sides and is in good working order.
