This is the Headway Japan Tune-up Series HL-V085SE OAG, an electro-acoustic model featuring the “Old American Gold” finish from HEADWAY, an acoustic guitar brand headquartered in Matsumoto City, Nagano Prefecture.

The JT Series is assembled overseas, where every instrument is inspected and set up by a dedicated quality control department before shipment. It features a solid Sitka spruce top, sapele sides and back, scalloped X-bracing, a nato neck, a micarta fingerboard and bridge, and a Fishman Sonitone pickup, with the volume and tone controls located inside the soundhole.

Featuring a beautiful finish reminiscent of American vintage cars, this parlor-sized model with a comfortable 14th-fret joint delivers a crisp, responsive tone—making it highly recommended for fingerstyle players.

Although there are some signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, picking marks on the pickguard film, etc.), it is in good condition.

It was set up (cleaned, restrung, and truss rod adjusted) upon arrival; the frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions and has been tested to operate within a range of ±60°.
