Based on the Gibson Les Paul Studio—which offers excellent value by retaining the specifications of the Les Paul Standard while omitting decorative elements such as body binding—this is the Gibson Les Paul Faded.

The body features a maple top and mahogany back with Ultra Modern Weight Relief, a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, an aluminum tailpiece, and an aluminum TOM bridge, and is equipped with 490R and 490T pickups.

While keeping the price low—similar to when it was first released—it delivers the quintessential Les Paul sound. It’s highly recommended for intermediate players looking to step up their game, as well as for home recording.

Signs of use are visible (including minor scratches, scuffs, wear marks, wipe marks, picking marks, picking marks on the pickup bobbins, and tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws, etc.). It comes with a Gibson hard case instead of the original gig bag.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to ensure it moves smoothly up to 60° in both directions.
