This is a modernized version of Jerry Jones’ Baby Sitar.

Jerry Jones has produced numerous reissue models that retain the original designs and sounds of instruments like the “Coral” and “Danelectro,” while incorporating modern specifications for frets, tuning pegs, and truss rods. The design, which omits resonant strings, produces a unique sound thanks to the so-called “Buzz Bridge,” and the neck features a long scale.

In addition to its striking appearance, the footrest provides stability when playing while seated, and its distinctive, ethnic tone is a major draw.

Signs of use are visible (color fading, minor scratches and scuffs, wear and wipe marks, picking marks, tarnish and pitting on metal parts and screws, etc.).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling); the frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod has been checked to move smoothly up to 60° in both directions and is in good working order.
