The SNAPPER-CTM, a 2008 model from the ESP brand—which includes the ESP, Navigator, EDWARDS, and Grassroots lines—is a model that evolves the brand’s traditional style to suit modern tastes.

The SNAPPER-CTM, whose specifications vary depending on the production period, features a quilted maple top and basswood back and body, a hard maple neck, a laminated maple fingerboard, ESP Custom Lab CLP-S-1x2 & CLP-H-1 pickups, volume and tone controls, a rear pickup direct Mini-SW, a 5-way selector switch, Sperzel locking tuners, and an ESP FLICKER-III tremolo.

Boasting a striking appearance and high build quality, this SNAPPER-CTM is a beautiful instrument with a quilted top—a feature that has become quite rare these days.

The strap pins have been replaced with Schaller-type pins (no strap hardware on the strap side), and there are signs of wear (faded finish, dents and scratches around the perimeter, scuffs and playing lines, picking marks, buckle marks, shine and ring marks on the back of the neck from playing, and tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was fully set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions; it has been verified to function properly within a range of ±60°.
