When people think of hide models, many immediately picture this “Yellow Heart” model—a guitar with a truly striking appearance.

It’s the Fernandes/Barney hide Signature Model MG-145S.

Featuring a basswood body and the Sustainer—an indispensable element of hide’s guitar performance—this model not only delivers semi-permanent long tones but also allows you to pursue an even more authentic hide sound by forcibly generating feedback in harmonic mode. It’s a model with a slim neck, striking looks, and the built-in Sustainer.

The strap pins have been replaced with Schaller-type pins (no strap hardware on the strap side), and there are signs of use (minor scratches, scuffs, wear marks, wipe marks, picking marks, buckle marks, tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts, etc.).

Set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The fret tops are slightly lower due to leveling but remain at a height suitable for playing. The truss rod can be adjusted in both tightening and loosening directions and has been tested to operate within a range of ±60°.
