The JB-Modern is a JB-type model from Crews Maniac Sound—a brand trusted by top artists and instrument enthusiasts alike—featuring a matching headstock design.

It features an alder body, a maple neck, a 310R fingerboard with 21 frets, Crews original pickups, Volume and Tone controls, and a GOTOH bridge.

The finish has faded to a bluish hue. There are signs of wear (cosmetic damage such as minor scratches and scuffs around the headstock and along the outer edges, scuff marks, playing lines, picking marks, sanding marks and discoloration on the back of the neck, and tarnish or pitting on metal parts and screws).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret leveling). The frets are at a height that does not interfere with playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening); it has been verified to function properly within a range of ±60°.
