The RSP20 is the flagship model of the new Revstar series, crafted by skilled Japanese artisans and proudly “Made in Japan.”

The “REVSTAR” series features Yamaha’s REVSTAR guitars, crafted with meticulous attention to detail and careful construction through traditional Japanese techniques and the masterful skills of technicians who have supported and carried on Yamaha’s 50-year history of guitar-making.

It features a maple top and mahogany body with carbon fiber inserts and chambered construction, a carbon fiber-reinforced 3-piece mahogany neck, a rosewood fingerboard with a 42mm nut and medium scale (350R),pickups include the VH5n and VH5b, volume and tone controls (with a focus switch), and a 3-way selector switch; the bridge features a Tun-O-Matic with a stop tailpiece.

Although there are some signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, minor unevenness in the wood that appears to be present since manufacture, tarnish on metal parts, etc.), it is in good condition.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and action adjustment); the frets are at a height suitable for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions (tightening and loosening) up to ±60°, which has been verified and is in good working order.
