This black-and-white FV is modeled after M.S., the "god of MSG." Since there is no serial number or other markings, it is believed to be an FV Type Black White, likely an Edwards E-FV-95WB DOT (dot type) (the current E-FV-125WB DOT).

Presumed to be an Edwards model, it features original pickups—a Seymour Duncan SH-1n ('59) and SH-5 (Duncan Custom)—and its construction and finish suggest it is an Edwards-made instrument. It features a mahogany body and neck, a rosewood fingerboard, dot position markers, two volume and tone controls, and a TOM bridge and tailpiece.

With its striking appearance, clear midrange, and excellent playability, this guitar boasts immense potential as a “legendary” instrument.

Although it shows signs of use (significant discoloration on the white parts and knobs, scuffs, wipe marks, picking marks, and tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts, etc.), it is in good overall condition. The case is missing its shoulder strap, and the zipper pull is damaged.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, action adjustment, and fret leveling). The fret heights are at a level that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod has been verified to operate smoothly up to 60° in both directions.
