USED Gibson / Limited Edition SJ-200 Elite Antique Natural (2015) [08]

A 2015 limited-edition model.
The Gibson Super Jumbo SJ-200, nicknamed the “King of Flat Tops.”
The all-solid Super Jumbo body features Sitka spruce on the top and premium figured maple on the sides and back.
The top features scalloped X-bracing, an abalone rosette, a rosewood mustache bridge inlaid with two abalone bars (the bridge pins also feature abalone dots), and a gorgeous pickguard with abalone dots.
The maple neck, featuring exquisite grain and a nut width of just under 44 mm with a 25.5" long scale, is fitted with a rosewood fingerboard adorned with binding and a gorgeous abalone crown inlay.
The headstock is fitted with Grover Imperial Gold tuners. Furthermore, abalone is used for the Gibson logo and crown inlay on the headstock!
It is equipped with an LR Baggs Anthem pickup, which combines the output of a piezo pickup and a microphone.

Serviced at a renowned guitar workshop!
The bridge detachment has been repaired, the frets have been leveled, the nut has been replaced, and the saddles have been adjusted.
The truss rod still has some play left, and while the frets have been leveled—making them slightly lower—they still retain enough height to ensure comfortable playing.
Signs of aging are visible, including discoloration on the top, paint peeling, and tarnish on the metal parts.
The body has scattered fine dents and scratches.
There is some barely noticeable paint discoloration on the back of the neck (near the back of the nut).
Due to paint shrinkage, there is a slight step in the binding and the centerpiece area on the back of the neck, but since there are no cracks, this is simply a result of aging.
It shows very little wear and tear, presents a clean overall appearance, and offers excellent playability!

It certainly makes a strong visual impact, but what really shines is the well-defined tone characteristic of a maple body!
It’s great for playing loud, and it’s also great for fingerstyle playing!
