The El Capistan—which reproduces the warmth and saturation unique to authentic tape echoes through its proprietary dTape technology and a new, powerful ARM DSP—has been upgraded!!

In addition to firmware updates and a USB-C port for MIDI connectivity, this upgrade features a TRS MIDI jack for MIDI control, full stereo input and output with switchable mono/stereo modes, and a premium JFET input. Each model now incorporates a powerful new ARM processor, delivering higher processing power while keeping power consumption low.MIDI Lock Sync allows you to save up to 300 presets. The user interface has been simplified for greater ease of use, enabling intuitive operation while supporting a wider range of detailed settings.

Furthermore, this model adds rich depth to every sound—from classic slapback echo to psychedelic, ethereal, spacey sounds—delivering authentic tones you won’t find anywhere else.

The SPRING knob replicates the spring reverb tank found in vintage tape echo machines. Thanks to a proprietary algorithm, it produces spring reverb with a vintage-style, high-quality texture.

With the new El Capistan, you can easily experience authentic sounds that rival the original—all in a compact pedal size.
