USED Takamine / LTD-2006 [Manufactured in 2006]

The “OM Cutaway Body” model is characterized by its fantastical soundhole decoration and fingerboard inlays.

This is the Takamine LTD-2006. The soundhole rosette depicts the “Wind, Fire, Earth, and Water”—the elements of life—through a combination of koa, cocobolo, abalone, and lapis lazuli, and the fingerboard also features a “Knot of Life” inlay.It features a solid Sitka spruce top, X-bracing, a solid Indian rosewood back, Indian rosewood sides, a mahogany neck, and a cutaway shape.

The preamp has been replaced with the current CT-4BII (PTU) model, which includes a built-in tuner. This limited-edition model has garnered significant attention both domestically and internationally, and its excellent playability and wide range of tonal variations are particularly appealing.

Signs of wear are visible (including discoloration, overall cloudiness, minor scratches and scuffs along the outer edges, scuffs and playing marks, picking marks, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was fully set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, fret leveling, saddle height adjustment, nut re-gluing, and preamp replacement). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both tightening and loosening directions; its operation has been verified up to ±60°.
