USED Takamine / LTD-99 The Mountain [1999]

"The Mountain" is characterized by its three-dimensional soundhole inlay and the mountain peak inlay at the 12th fret.

This is Takamine’s LTD-99, “The Mountain.” The mountain peak is rendered in koa, walnut, rosewood, maple, and Avalon, and a snow-capped mountain inlay adorns the 12th fret.

This limited-edition model has garnered significant attention both domestically and internationally, and its excellent playability and wide range of tonal variations are major attractions.

Signs of use are visible (including discoloration, clouding on the headstock top, minor scratches and scuffs along the outer edges, wear and playing marks, picking marks, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, and fret leveling). The originally narrow fret tops have been leveled to a slightly lower height but remain at a level that poses no issues for playing. The truss rod can be adjusted in both tightening and loosening directions, and its operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.

Condition Grade: B+: Some scratches are present, but the instrument is suitable for normal use.
