USED Takamine / LTD97 Santa Fe [Made in 1997]

The LTD 1997 Santa Fe model is characterized by its striking body top decoration and the inlays on the fingerboard.

This is Takamine’s 1997 LIMITED EDITION. The soundhole rosette features a “lizard” design combining rosewood and turquoise, and the fingerboard is adorned with inlays depicting “lizard footprints.” It features a solid spruce top, X-bracing, koa sides and back, a mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.

The preamp has been replaced with the current CT-4BII (PTU) model, which includes a built-in tuner. This limited-edition model has garnered significant attention both domestically and internationally, and its excellent playability and wide range of tonal variations are among its key attractions.

Signs of use are visible (including discoloration, a milky white appearance on the headstock and overall body, minor scratches and scuffs on the headstock tip and outer edges, wear and playing marks, picking marks, marks on the back of the neck from resting the head and ring marks, as well as tarnish, pitting, and rust on metal parts and screws, and other cosmetic damage).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, fret leveling, saddle height adjustment, nut re-gluing, and preamp replacement). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both tightening and loosening directions; operation has been confirmed up to ±60°.
