USED Takamine / Limited Edition L-6 [2001]

This limited-edition model, limited to 150 pieces worldwide, features an original inlay inspired by Mount Takamine in Nakatsugawa City, Gifu Prefecture—the mountain that gave Takamine its name.

This is Takamine’s Limited Edition L-6. Based on the 100 Series, it features an arched top and back, a Hawaiian koa top, sides, and back, a mahogany neck, an ebony fingerboard, and gold hardware.

The preamp has been replaced with the current CT-4BII (PTU) model, which includes a built-in tuner. This limited-edition model, which has attracted significant attention both domestically and internationally, offers excellent playability and a wide range of tonal variations.

Signs of use are visible (including discoloration, overall cloudiness, minor scratches and scuffs along the edges, wear and playing marks, picking marks, ring marks on the back of the neck, and tarnish, pitting, or rust on metal parts and screws, among other cosmetic damages).

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and preamp replacement). The frets are at a height that does not interfere with playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions; operation has been confirmed up to ±60° (currently set slightly tight).
