USED Danelectro / 59 DC 12-String BLK [2.94 kg]

This is the Danelectro Short Horn 59-DC 12-string model.

Danelectro has a long history of frequent appearances on the top music scene. This 12-string model has been beloved by many artists and players. It features the rich resonance characteristic of a Masonite hollow-body guitar, the sweet sound produced by the lipstick pickup, a maple neck with a “Coke bottle-style” headstock, and the uniformity of sound—both open and fretted—achieved through stacked pots and a metal nut. It is a popular model cherished by many artists.

Its charm lies in the atmospheric look and unique tone provided by the Masonite hollow body and lipstick pickup.

There is no peeling of the side tape, and while there are some signs of use (scuffs, wipe marks, picking marks, tarnish on metal parts, etc.), it is in good condition. The zipper on the pocket of the soft case is broken.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and action adjustment). The frets are at a height that poses no problem for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both directions; it has been tested to operate up to ±60° and is in good condition (slightly tight).
