This is the “1983–2023” 40th Anniversary Edition of the Tokai Original Model aluminum-bodied Talbot Wilkinson Upgrade Limited.

The Metal Body Talbo made its debut in 1983 with a groundbreaking aluminum body.Featuring a one-piece cast aluminum body that reproduces the blue-black color from around 1999, a 4-point joint, a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, and a string-guide-less design, it is equipped with GOTOH SG381-07 tuners, a see-through pickguard, and pickups consisting of two GOTOH GS-1s and one GOTOH Vintage Hot.Vol/Tone controls, a 5-way selector switch, and a Wilkinson VS100N tremolo.

This guitar is characterized by its distinctive shape—favored by artists such as Susumu Hirasawa and HISASH of GLAY—and its clear, crisp tone.

Although there are some signs of use (scratches, wipe marks, picking marks, tarnish on metal parts, etc.), it is in good condition.

It was set up upon arrival (cleaning, string replacement, truss rod adjustment, octave adjustment, and string height adjustment). The frets are at a height that poses no issues for playing, and the truss rod can be adjusted in both tightening and loosening directions; it has been tested to operate up to ±60° with no issues.
